Hitachi Gains 2-3 PP High End Market Share in Q4 FY07
After the release of the Hitachi Q4/FY2007 reported earnings results, Aaron Rakers, an industry-leading financial analyst at Wachovia Capital Markets, published a positive research report touting that Hitachi gained material market share against EMC and IBM (2-3PP). Key highlights of the report include: Hitachi garnered share gains (+2-3PP) on a year-to-year basis relative to both EMC and IBM. It is estimated that Hitachi Data Systems added more than 900 USP systems to its installed base during the March quarter - ending at more than 9,200 units.
