Open Account
The Open Account is used to extend a line of credit under net terms. Net terms are usually 30 days, which means that a reseller has 30 days from the date of invoice to pay for the product or service. The line of credit is based on the reseller's financial condition as determined using the reseller's bank & trade references, financial statements, and credit reports. This is the most convenient form of credit for the reseller.
Escrow Program
The Escrow Program allows the reseller to maintain responsibility for the account receivable of the end-user and collection thereof, but the end-user's payment is mailed to a bank account set up to hold the escrow remittances. This bank account requires both the reseller and MOCA Group to sign a document (Exhibit B Form) to disburse the funds. The reseller's proceeds from the sale when disbursed are wired to the reseller's bank account. MOCA Group offers terms of net 60 days for escrow program transactions.
Advantages:
- This program enables a reseller bid on deals much higher than their approved open account line of credit and increases the reseller's overall purchasing power.
- Credit approval is based on the creditworthiness of the end-user.
- The end-user is not aware that MOCA Group is involved in the transaction.
- The escrow transactions do not impact the reseller's open account credit availability.
- The credit risk associated with the end-user is reduced as MOCA Group evaluates the credit on the end-user.
- Credit terms are net 60 days.
- Reseller owns the sale.
Inventory Finance Program/Flooring
Think of the Inventory Financing as a credit card that the reseller can use with MOCA Group. The reseller establishes a secured line of credit with an inventory finance company. The reseller notifies MOCA Group of this relationship and we set up an account specifically for purchases placed that the reseller wants billed to the inventory finance company. MOCA Group pays for the first 30 days' finance charges in most cases.
We leverage our financial strength and relationships to partner with several finance companies in order to provide the most competitive Inventory Financing opportunities to our resellers.
Leasing Program
Leasing is a simple way for companies to finance product over time rather than paying cash up front. MOCA Group uses a variety of leasing companies to help the reseller and end-user finance the purchase. MOCA Group can process a variety of products through the LEASING PROGRAM including hardware, software, educational services, support, extended maintenance, and consulting fees, as well as storage and demo equipment.
It is easy to obtain a lease quote. The following information is necessary
- Name and address of the end-user
- Lease term and buy-out option requested by the end-user
- Equipment quote with the end-user's costs (VAR or customer)
The following documentation is necessary to release a lease order:
- Purchase order from the reseller made out to MOCA Group detailing the equipment to be shipped
- Purchase order/ship release letter from the finance/leasing company issued to MOCA Group (not the reseller)
Advantages:
- Leasing increases the buying power of the end-users by offering a low monthly payment instead of a large one-time expenditure; the end-user can afford a high end solution
- 100% financing - the end-user can finance the entire solution, including hardware, software, service, as well as support and consulting fees
- Leasing increases future sales potential by allowing options for the end-users to upgrade their equipment for newer technology during the lease term
- Reseller's open account credit line is not affected by the lease transaction
