Also known as "Menu Masking," Support Net offers a separate application in the N/Compass Software Suite, specifically designed to limit user access to certain menu options or as an operational tool to permit certain job functions. Menu Security allows selective access to sensitive payroll and financial data by individual user profile.
"Security by Availability"
By working with your existing user profiles, N/Compass Menu Security enables a method of security generally regarded as the surest and fastest to implement and the easiest to administrate.
Simple Set-up
A series of menu prompts guides you through every step, matching users with menus and then limiting user access to individual options. You have the ability to print option authority. Supports multiple security administrators.
Completely Menu-Driven
Menu Security uses selection lists, so you won't need to remember user profile names. And it works with any Support Net menu.
Selective
Limit administrative authority across an entire N/Compass application or just certain menu commands. May be used at the company level, company security, and bank security. The masked options won't even appear on the user's menu.
Profile Duplication
Need to set up similar profiles for several users? Once you've established a "security mask" for one individual, N/Compass provides a "Copy" function to duplicate assignments from one profile to another.
